Located in the quaint town of Long Beach you can experience the local charm, restaurants, and shops from our doorstep.
While visiting Southwest Washington we are the perfect base for all your favorite adventures such as hiking, picking mushrooms, bird watching, kayaking, fishing, clamming, horseback riding, whale watching, or a wonderful horse drawn carriage ride. Visit the nations newest park which is the Lewis and Clark National Park and Interpretive Center located at the mouth of the Columbia river. Fort Canby and Fort Columbia State Park are only a few of the historical Forts that protected the gateway to the Pacific Ocean. For those avid nature explorers Leadbetter State Park is a must see. And of course a visit to the Cape Disappointment and North Head Lighthouses for there breathtaking views and local history.
A semi private access from our Inn takes you to the newly paved 10 mile Discovery Trail and the beutiful ocean. The trail is paived so is accessable to bicyclist as well as walkers and runs from downtown Illwaco through north Long Beach along the ocean and sand dunes.
